What would it look like…what would society look like…what would our families look like if moms were given the respect and honor they deserve? 

   Mom’s play a pivotal role in the family, and one that’s often overlooked and under-appreciated.

   It’s not a coincidence that God included something about this in the original top 10… the ten commandments.  And that is to “Honor your father and mother.”  And then a follow up statement, “that it may go well with you.”  Honoring others has a built-in reward.  It’s amazing what would happen, if we just did the right thing sometimes. 

   When we show moms the honor and appreciation they deserve, somehow we’re cooperating with the very way God designed us – and that’s way cool.

   If you are a mom – whether you are a single mom trying to make it in this crazy world, or married and taking care of the kiddo’s under your care, or if you’re an empty nester – I want to say “thank you” for a job well done. 

   Happy Mother’s Day 2024!  Our society is better off because you are here… and God smiles at you too!  I think I’ll go call my mom and say “I love you.”
