“Let us remember: One book, one pen, one child and one teacher can change the world.” – Malala Yousafzai

Labor Day is upon us… summer is over… school has started.  However, this year is unlike any other year.  Students, teachers,  and administrators are beginning this year with more questions than answers.  Challenges still exist.  New challenges may present themselves.  However… our educators play an incredibly important and valuable role in the lives of our children… whether they are public, private, virtual, or home-schooled.  It is not an easy job, and it is often thank-less.  Which is why this year, with all of the turmoil and polarization and uncertainties… God has put both our educators and students on my heart.  Would you join me in prayer for our students…  K-12, as well as our college students.  Would you also join me in prayer for our educators – our teachers, our administrators, and all the support staff (up here it would include LUHS, MHLT, AVW, North Lakeland, Flambeau, Rhinelander, Merrill, BVA, Trinity, along with others).  Pray for wisdom, grace, strength, health, peace, safety.  Pray for kindness and civility.  Pray for learning and growth.  Pray for encouragement. Truly, may this school year change the world… for the better… one teacher, one student at a time. And that’s…real life.  ~Pastor Steve – Eaglebrook Church
