Training and tools are never an end to themselves, nor are they supposed to make one feel superior over those who do not have them. They are given to help us build up and strengthen something or someone outside of ourselves.

The same is true of spiritual gifts... those gifts that God chooses to give to those who have been born again, born of His Spirit. They are given ... for the purpose of helping others.
