The worst possible outcome of conflict is not that two people entered into one… but that people allow it to fracture, ruin, or irreparably change a relationship. The Book of Acts tells of one such conflict between two heroes of the faith – Paul & Barnabas. They were both right… and yet they were both wrong. Neither gave in, and the two parted ways… in quite a huff I might add. God redeemed it, of course… but at a great personal and relational cost that could have been avoided.
