In the letter written to the Romans, Paul makes this crazy claim that we are to rejoice over our suffering... and, if we are honest with ourselves, that can be a little hard to swallow... I mean, who in their right mind would rejoice over suffering?  Such an idea can easily become a "rock in your shoe".  But as we dig deeper into this passage, we come to see that what Paul is pointing us towards causes us to rejoice, even over our sufferings.
