Have you ever squandered a great opportunity?  Jesus tells a story that is a wake-up call for us to make the most of the gracious opportunity laid before us.  This story is often misread as if Jesus is trying to motivate us by the fear of punishment. But as we take a fresh look at this story, we will see that we are not to be motivated by fear, but by love.
