Majoring on the minors, and missing the point

And the problem is… if what you are missing and can’t “see” right in front of you are your car keys, or the TV remote, it’s not the end of the world… in the end it is actually kind of funny. But if what you cannot see is literally your only hope for survival… the consequences … can be devastating.

And that’s what Jesus addresses today in Luke’s gospel, chapter 12, verse 54…
