Ralph Waldo Emerson once said, “We are always getting ready to live, but never really living.” And thus we miss the point of the entire thing. Jesus said something similar. That we are to be prepared, be ready... but we not for an event. Rather, as a lifestyle of living prepared, in relationship with Christ, and a life that rests peacefully... knowing our future is secure!
