Nothing is easy. Nothing is void of potential conflict, pain, heartache, loss, betrayal, and hard work. And two, at some deeper level, there has to be a reason why we hold on… that we persevere.

That's what Israel learned that day... that's what we learn as well... to follow Jesus is not easy.
