    Real Life

    With Pastor Steve

    May 30, 2025

This is not just an end… it is a new beginning.

This weekend in our Northwoods community, we are celebrating the graduation of the class of 2025.  My daughter is one of them, as she graduates from LUHS on Sunday.

Yes, it is the end of a journey… the completion of an era.  It is a time for family to come together, to celebrate.  It is a time to reflect on 12 years of education, pictures, sports, music, trips, activities, and even more.  It is a milestone, a marker, a benchmark.  And there is a reality that a chapter for the graduate, and a chapter for the parents … has closed.  However… as you turn the page… a new chapter begins.  And that chapter has not been written yet.  It is full of possibilities.  It is a new beginning … for both student … and parent.  It is a time to continue to grow, and not become complacent.  It is a time to hold on to that which is most valuable, while letting go of things that are not.  New challenges, new opportunities, new direction.   The beginning of this chapter will be full … and it too, will one day close.  And another chapter will begin.  That’s growth.  That’s life.  So, this weekend, I am pausing to reflect and celebrate. But I am also excited to see Gods plans for my daughter, my other children, and for my wife and I in this new season. May God bless you, in whatever season you are in! And that’s … real life. ~ Pastor Steve Rowe – Eaglebrook Church
