After hundreds of years of waiting, the Promised Messiah finally emerges among the People of Israel. Everyone would be eager to know what the Messiah would do first! But then, as suddenly as He appears, Jesus then wanders off out into the wilderness all by Himself for over a month. What is He doing out there? What does this have to do with His role as the Messiah? And what does this have to do with us today?
