Every new beginning… comes from some other beginnings end. ~ Seneca

Life is full of cycles.  Beginnings and endings… starts and stops… births and deaths.  But at every ending point, something new becomes possible and is made available.

We see that as our kids are born, or are adopted into our families.  A simple era ends, and a more complex era begins.  We see that as those same kids graduate high school or college.  It is an ending and a beginning all at the same time, for parents and the kids – full of challenges, but also excitement about the possibilities. The business community, families, even churches all deal with these cycles.  Eaglebrook is in an exciting time of “new beginnings” of our own.

Seasons and eras end, chapters come to a close… which only open the door for new ones. The old season may be something you miss… it may be something you are glad to be free from… but either way… lean into it, rather than away from it.  Allow God to use it to bring clarity… clarity of purpose, clarity of vision, clarity of mission. And then walk into that new beginning with joy and excitement!  In a very real way, that’s what Jesus came to bring… the end of an era, and a new beginning. As we tap into that one, may we be able to enter the ones we face today with greater confidence!  And that’s…real life.  ~Pastor Steve – Eaglebrook Church
